How to make it

Choose your pattern, place the beads on your pegboard and check for gaps. Then follow the finishing steps below.

1. Tape and press

Cover your finished design with masking tape. Press gently so every bead sticks.
2. Lift off the pegboard

Carefully flip the taped design and lift away the pegboard. Keep the beads attached to the tape.
3. Set to Cotton mode

Set your household iron to Cotton mode. Dial markings vary by iron.
4. Cover and iron

Cover the exposed beads with ironing paper. Move the iron evenly with light pressure until the beads fuse.
5. Cool and peel

Let your design cool, then gently peel away the paper and tape to reveal your finished piece.

An adult should handle the iron. Work on a heat-safe surface and test a small design first.

1 square pegboard, 1 precision tweezers, 1 bead needle, 1 bead scoop, 1 ironing cloth, 3 ironing sheets, 10 ball chains and 2 black and white refill bags; approximately 2,000 refill beads in total.
