Have fabric you love and tools ready to go? Start your next Kinusaiga picture with a blank adhesive foam board and a matching frame.
A blank base for your own fabric art. The adhesive is already applied, so you can focus on your design, colours and fabric.
Bring your own fabric, design and tools.
Choose your own design and transfer the lines onto the protective backing.
Carefully score along the design lines. Keep the cuts shallow so they do not pass through the 1 cm board.
Peel one area at a time. Cut your fabric slightly larger than the shape and place it onto the adhesive.
Tuck the fabric edges into the grooves, then repeat until your picture is complete.

Start with lightweight woven cotton, such as quilting cotton or fabric scraps. Thick or heavily textured fabrics are harder to tuck neatly into the grooves.
Have fabric scissors, a craft knife for scoring the design, and a fabric-tucking tool or seam ripper ready. Use the tucking tool gently to avoid tearing the foam.
This is a blank base for your own design. Transfer your pattern and cut the grooves before adding fabric.
Peel only the section you are working on. Keep the rest covered while you position and tuck each piece, so loose fabric does not stick to neighbouring areas.
It is a handy next-project base if you already have fabric and Kinusaiga tools, or want to create your own design.
